One place, a different experience each time
Forest Sounds begins with the place itself. I observe what grows and lives there, listen to the surroundings, and look for stories and music that belong to that particular place. This way, each location finds its own unique sound.
From there, I explore how the experience can move and change with the forest. Because a place never stays quite the same. The seasons shift, the light changes throughout the day, and there is always new life to discover. The music and stories of Bosklanken evolve along with it. Sometimes there are tiny midges, sometimes there aren't. And an insect hotel, just like a real hotel, welcomes different guests over time.
Your own choices also shape the walk. They open up different perspectives, atmospheres, and ways of experiencing the place. This changes not only the story you hear, but also the way you look at your surroundings and what you notice along the way.
That's what I find so fascinating about creating Bosklanken: how one place can hold so many different experiences, each unfolding in its own way, moving with the rhythm of a forest that never stands still.
